It's an old singer Fashion Mate model 237.
It seems to work, and looks to be in pretty good shape.
Zig Zag, forward and reverse, controls for stitch length and needle position. A good basic machine with light, power cord and foot control pedal all in a carrying case. This is heavy machine made of metal not one of those cheap plastic ones you see on the market today.
We threaded it up ( maybe not quite correctly ) and it sews!
The case is not pretty with surface marks and scuffs but it is solid and protects the machine in storage and travel as well as making it more easily portable.
